Dan Gooley was a head coach at the DI level for 34 years. He also coached in the Cape Cod League and worked for the Starter Corporation; overseeing all of college baseball, all MLB, and top MiLB teams.

Great coaches such as John Winkin from the University of Maine, Bill Hollowaty at Eastern Connecticut and Steve Trimper at Stetson have dominated competition with programs that have taught the game by dissecting whole movements into small parts and short drills. Never think in terms of failure. Simply fix the "part."
